Meatloaf is one of our favorite comfort foods. A family staple. Low sodium, healthy gluten free recipes that are low salt and tastes great is a combination tough to beat. Worcestershire sauce is a great seasoning to keep in your toolbox, loads of flavor with little salt. Try the meatloaf mix of beef, pork and veal for a different slant on this classic.
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup No Salt tomato ketchup
2 Tablespoons yellow mustard
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Tablespoon worchestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
2 teaspoons No-Salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1-1/2 lb ground beef
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Using your hands may be the best way to do this.
Shape into a loaf and place in an ungreased loaf pan.
Bake for 90 minutes.
