Cabbage is a staple in so many cultures. It is no wonder, cabbage has plenty of fiber, vitamins and even protein. This healthy recipe is a great idea to make when you have huge meal going on in your kitchen and have limited space in your oven or on your cooktop because it cooks off to the side in the crock pot. It goes well with a roast turkey dinner and because it is in the crock pot, you can start it well in advance of your meal. It is simple and simply delicious.

Ingredients

1 medium size head of cabbage, sliced into wedges
4 Tablespoons sweet pepper relish
3 Tablespoons dehydrated onions
2 Tablespoons of canola oil
2 beef bouillon cubes
water to cover

Healthy Cooking Instructions

Place all ingredients in a crock pot.
Pour in enough water just to cover everything.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
